LESSON 2
BEING SUSTAINED, CONTENT, AND DEBT FREE
Ecclesiastes 5:17 kjv
17 All his days also he eateth in darkness, and he hath much sorrow and wrath with his sickness
Rich people don't get rest, they are often worried about their stuff and money.
- Being rich, or trying to look like you are, brings no real satisfaction.
Proverbs 22:7 kjv
7 The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender.
If you don't have the money for it, don't buy it.
- The Bible says that the borrower is a servant to the lender.
- Avoid getting credit cards and loans, you will become a servant to them.
Hebrews 13:5 kjv
5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have:
for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
We must be content with everything that God has already given us, not wanting more.
- We should not go about our lives wishing that we could obtain more.
- You don't have to live like everyone else, or have the things that other people have.
1st Timothy 6:6 kjv
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.
God has provided so much for us already, we must be fully content in Him.
- Putting your focus on the Lord and serving Him, will bring you real joy.
- The Bible says that doing right, and serving God is great gain.
- The Lord will provide for all of your needs, and if you serve and trust Him He can bless you abundantly.
Romans 13:8 kjv
8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
The Bible says that the wicked borrow and don't pay it back.
- When we borrow something from someone, we should return it again unto them.
- We must be responsible enough to repay borrowed money as we are in returning someone's belongings.
- When you borrow money from someone make sure to not only pay it back, but also be sure to pay it back on time.
Trust in the Lord to sustain you, be content in Him and owe no man anything!
Great job! I enjoyed both parts! 🥰
