The Fool.

According to Dictionary.com, a fool is a silly or stupid person; a person who lacks judgment or sense. According to the bible, a fool is much worse that that.

The bible says a lot about fools and what they are, so I am going to talk about what the biblical fool is.

1. The fool rejects God. Psalms 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. According to this verse, a fool is someone who thinks that there is no God, just like an Atheist would think.

2. Fools don’t take advice. Proverbs 15:5 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. The bible also says that fools despise wisdom and instruction, meaning that they won’t take advice from people. Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

We need to take advice from people and not think that what we do is always right. Proverbs 9:8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

In conclusion, you can be a fool in many different ways, so we need to be careful about what we do and how we act because God is living in you if you are saved.
