Noting Lasts Forever

Matthew 24:35

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall

not pass away.

This verse teaches us that nothing on earth is going to last forever, and

So instead of focusing on accomplishing a lot of things on earth in our

lifetime, we need to be focused on accomplishing things of eternal value.

Matthew 6:19 – 20:

Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth

corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves

treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where

thieves do not break through nor steal.

In conclusion. God only gave us one life on earth, and we need to be

focused on things that will last for ever like leading people to the LORD, and

not just worldly things.
