A New Beginning

Proverbs 24:16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

In this new year, many people, including myself, have made goals and resolutions. The majority of the time, these goals are never reached. We need to remember that every new day brings us another opportunity to start over again. Following our goals can be difficult, but even when we fall, we must get up and start again. If we live a life that is pleasing to God, we will be blessed. Sin can give pleasure for a while, but sooner or later, destruction will come. We must remember to make godly goals for ourselves, and ask for God’s help in accomplishing them.
